Enter the world of the U.S. Army, the world's premier land force, where honor and teamwork are the primary weapons against the enemies of freedom.
Built in partnership with Ubisoft, Inc, America's Army: Rise of a Soldier offers the most true-to-life Army experience available, allowing you to create a Soldier and take him through a career in the U.S. Army. Actual U.S. Army Special Forces soldiers were assigned to the America's Army project to consult and provide expert advice to the game designers, Secret Level, ensuring the highest level of realism in any military console game in existence. Authentic weapons, equipment and combat situations came straight from these U.S. Army Special Forces soldiers.
In America's Army: Rise of a Soldier, the only official U.S. Army game on the console, intense single-player missions and high-adrenaline multiplayer action build the skills of your Soldier as you advance him through his career. America's Army: Rise of a Soldier offers a unique Career Mode in which unparalleled character customization allows you to create a Soldier and take him from recruit to Special Forces team leader. Earn experience points in training and combat missions, and use them to increase core skills. Start out as an integrated member of an eight-man fire team, then progress in your career to become a Fire Team Leader issuing commands.
America's Army has no linear campaign design, allowing you to choose your own career path. You can focus on specific Army roles (i.e. sniper or grenadier) or experience different roles in your goal to achieve elite Green Beret status. Quick reflexes, effective squad maneuvers, coordination and the use of teamwork are critical to succeed in ultra-realistic combat scenarios and missions.
America's Army: Rise of a Soldier offers and intense multiplayer experience with up to 16 players playing on Xbox Live™ and online for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system. Career Mode enhances the experience, allowing you to create and build your own online character.
Ubisoft released America's Army: Rise of a Soldier for Xbox on November 16th, 2005.
