America's Army Action Figures Hit the Shelves

America's Army Action Figures America's Army Action Figures featuring our Real Heroes are on store shelves at Toys R Us®, AAFES and other stores nationwide. These figures feature our first set of Real Heroes:
  • Sergeant Tommy Riemen, 51st Long Range Surveillance Infantry (Airborne), earned the Silver Star for heroism in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
  • Sergeant First Class Gerald Wolford, 82nd Airborne, awarded the Silver Star for heroism in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
  • Sergeant Matthew Zedwick, 2-162 Infantry, earned the Silver Star for heroism in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
  • Major Jason Amerine, 5th Special Forces Group, awarded the Bronze Star with V Device for heroism in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.

America's Army Hits Arcades

America's Army arcade gameCheck out the newest version of America's Army this month in venues such as arcades, restaurants, movie theaters and malls. Designed for one or two players, the America's Army arcade game is based on real Army training and features a series of eight target-training games.

Each game has a dynamic difficulty system that makes the game easy for new Recruits and more difficult for experienced players. Players can learn about Army culture through Army videos and historical information that is displayed throughout the game. Just as with the PC and console versions of America's Army, players are rewarded for teamwork, proper use of the Rules of Engagement, accuracy and target identification.

Satellite Communication Systems Operator/Maintainer (25S)

Featured MOSSecure and effective communication is critical for success in today's high-tech Army. Satellite Communication Systems Operators make sure the lines of communication are always open. During extensive classroom and simulated combat conditions training these Soldiers learn how to install, operate, maintain and repair tactical multi-channel satellite communications. They are responsible for encoding and decoding classified messages, operating different types of telephone switchboards and responding to emergency messages. Voice Activation Control

VAC enables players to use the America's Army voice recognition system to issue commands and initiate actions. Now players have the ability to speak the radio command they want rather than cycling through menus. You can also map any key to a voice command to customize your America's Army experience.
