QUESTIONS & ANSWERS FOR: DEPLOY CLIENT

1.   DOES THE NEW DEPLOY CLIENT USE PEER TO PEER NETWORKING LIKE THE OLD DEPLOY CLIENT?
Answer:
The new version was rewritten from the ground up with the goal of improving the download experience. The client has moved away from using peer-to-peer technology in favor of a direct download system.

2.   DOES THE DEPLOY CLIENT CONTAIN SPY-WARE?
Answer:
The Deploy Client does NOT contain any spy-ware. The Deploy Client will only connect to official content servers to check for any available software updates for the Deploy Client, America's Army, and any installed America's Army components (Videos, etc.); it will display any updated news entries received from official servers; and will alert the Deploy content servers that it is an available peer for sharing any America's Army components that you have already downloaded (if peer-to-peer sharing is enabled).
